Carpet Cleaning
Routine carpet maintenance affects not just the general appearance of your home but also the overall quality of indoor air. You can improve appearance and reduce health problems by placing entry mats to collect particles and moisture before entering the carpeted area. Routine vacuuming is the most important step in carpet cleaning; cleaning frequency may vary depending on the amount of traffic that the carpeting carries,
the nature of the structure, and weather conditions.

You may wish to turn the problem of carpet cleaning over to a carpet-cleaning service. Before paying for professional cleaning, make sure that your carpet is worth the expense. The company can clean your carpet, but it can not resurrect it. In selecting a service, get two or three estimates as you would with any major consumer purchase. Determine how cleaning specials based on a specific number of rooms apply to your individual
situation. Find out whether halls and closets are considered part of a room. Inquire about the training and experience that company employees have; training periods and experience required may vary from company to company. Request information about the solvents and the equipment that the service uses to be sure that
your carpet can withstand the cleaning process. Check out the company's refund and damage policies. Get everything in writing and consult the BBB before signing any agreement.

Once you have selected a company, ask the company to test the cleaning method on an unseen section of the carpet. Identify the source of stains when possible so that the company can use special stain removers. Be sure that you understand any instructions you are given, and ask when furniture can be placed back on the carpet.

As a matter of policy, the BBB does not endorse any product, service or business.
